Cookies and good news

Chloe's newest addition to her vocabulary is the word cookie. At the moment this is pretty much the only thing she says and the only thing she wants to eat.

I grew up eating almost no sweets, no junk food nor cookies. I simply wasn't introduced to it so I didn't know what it was and what I was missing out on. I did get to try Arnotts Marie biscuits when I was little and this is something I have given H & C sometimes too but since Chloe has turned in to the 'cookie monster' we have to cut her off. :))

We have some good news this week. Heidi has been accepted to St Kierans Catholic Primary school and will be starting in February 2012. For us, this means that we don't have to worry about finding and applying for a schools for Chloe or any future kids because siblings are automatically accepted. Then the kids have a free-pass to a really good high-school when it's time for that so we don't have to worry about that either.

Heidi's birthday and a trip to Sydney

   

Heidi turned 3 last week! I cannot believe how fast time flies and that she has been in our lives for 3 years! But on the other hand I don't even remember life before having the kids. We had organised a princess themed party at a local playcentre and Heidi had a great time with her friends. Just like every year we ordered a special cake for the event from http://heavenlytiers.homestead.com/. 

As usual the cake was amazing and creative. I just loooove these cakes and the little girls got excited about the cake shaped as a princess crown. It's sad not to have any family here to celebrate the girls birthdays with but we are very fortunate having such amazing friends to make each birthday feel special.

Last weekend we went to visit Lisa and Tien in Sydney for a few days. We had the most awesome time and we really miss having them living around the corner... The kids absolutely adore Lisa and Tien and we think that Chloe actually fell in love for the first time. Every time Tien talked to Chloe she got all dainty and blushed and hid her face. This was the cutest thing ever to see. Chloes first crush :)
